Improving student health
Our goal is to set up a minimum medical follow-up for each child in the school.
One medical visit per year
All pupils undergo a free annual medical examination during which a general examination of the child is carried out.
Support for consultations with specialists
Consultations with specialists as well as the cost of any treatment are covered by J'IRAI A L'ECOLE for children from the most disadvantaged families. This is particularly the case for dental and ophthalmology care. JIAE also supports the purchase of prescription glasses when necessary.
Collaborate with the local Basic Health Center and develop prevention
Funding for local health center work
In accordance with the commitments made with the Basic Health Center of Ambohidrapeto, consisting in participating in the improvement and maintenance of the infrastructure of this center, JIAE financed the laying of tiles in the two prenatal consultation rooms of this center . This work was carried out under the supervision of the JIAE team present on site.
Develop prevention
The dentist from the Basic Health Center goes to the school to make students aware of the need to brush their teeth daily. J'IRAI A L'ECOLE supports the purchase of toothbrushes and toothpaste.
