Giving every child a chance for a future best
The first action carried out by J'IRAI A L'ECOLE was to support the Règne school, a school with a social vocation created in 2012 by the inhabitants of a very poor neighbourhood in the suburbs of Antananarivo. The aim of these distraught parents was to fight against the growing number of children living on the streets. This establishment operates without any public aid, does not benefit from any subsidy and is not the subject of any partnership. Its funding is exclusively provided by the families.
In order to better support these children, who are sometimes orphans or abandoned, from the inevitable dangers of dropping out of school, J'IRAI A L'ECOLE has undertaken to build a modern and functional school that can accommodate 240 children: THE SCHOOL OF THE LITTLE GIANTS.
In this establishment, 1 project manager, 1 director, 7 qualified teachers, 1 caretaker and 2 cooks, all of whom are supported by J'IRAI A L'ECOLE, work to give these underprivileged children access to education and offer them a better future.
