The barrier gestures come back

As in most schools in Madagascar, there has been an increase in absenteeism at the School of the Little Giants in recent weeks.

Children are suffering from fever, headaches and sometimes stomach aches and diarrhoea. Measures have been taken by the educational authorities to combat the spread of the phenomenon: the wearing of masks is once again compulsory in the school premises, and hydro-alcohol gel is also required at the entrance.

Fortunately, our little giants have acquired the habit of washing their hands regularly and respecting hygiene in the canteen and at snack time.

The CISCO ( School District) has set up an awareness-raising campaign in schools to reintroduce barrier gestures to children and staff. It reminds us that "it is better to take measures now to prevent the situation from getting out of hand".
