Where is happiness, where is it?
The World Happiness Report ranks Madagascar 127th out of 137 countries in the world in 2023, up one place from 2022. The country ranks 29th on the African continent.
The report measures the happiness of the population using several indicators: GDP per capita, life expectancy in good health, social aid, levels of solidarity, individual freedom and corruption.
